    SOUND                                                   

Hello world we are learning about sound  here are some facts too start us off sound is slower then light  and your ears don’t stop hearing when you sleep but your brain chooses too ignore it.

what is sound?

sound is something you hear like BANG that is sound but how low or loud can average human hear well there are things called hurts and they tell you how low or loud  you can hear. The lowest you can hear is 20H and the highest you can hear is 20,000H that is pretty loud but dogs can hear even louder they can hear 30,000H have a good day. here is a video about sound

The properties of sound

Here are the properties of sound sound travels, sound can be reflected, sound can be absorbed, sound can be modified and sound is caused  by vibrations. Those are the properties of sound but lets talk more lets look at sound travels so my class did an experiment were we banged on our desk and we listened to it and we write about it and here is what I did when I banged on the table it was loud but it is louder when my hand was flat. Now lets talk  about sound can be reflected some thing can reflect sound like an echo  like when  you speak into a can. and those are the properties of sound.

With sound came a lot of experiments like once we got a 2 plastic cup and a string and we connected them I could not hear a thing I think it was because the string was too big but lets talk about other experiments like the time where we banged our hands on our desk it was loud but it was louder when my hand was flat and with my water bottle (I think I can’t hear any more) . Those were some experiments that you can do at home bye.

how does the ear work? 

The ear works like this the ear has three parts the outer ear the middle  and the inner ear it has different parts I will tell you but I will also show you but first we will talk about it there are a lot of parts in the ear but we will talk about the importent ones like the ear drum it sends signals to your brain here is a photo.

Reflection of learning

I feel like science this year is going good I am having fun and learning a lot my  I want to improve on spelling and I think  science is going very good  in the future I would like to learn about the sea.
